When Vadivelu joined hands with Sundar C after a gap for ‘Guru Sishyan’, film buffs felt happy that a laugh riot was in store for them. However, things are not on the right track, one has to say, as the comedian has now walked out of the project.

“I was only invited for the photo shoot of the film. After that, no scenes involving me were shot till date. When I enquired circles in the know, they said the film’s shoot is on the verge of completion,” says Vadivelu.

He adds: “But I am yet to get any proper communication. Hence I have decided that there is no point in being part of the project anymore. I feel insulted. I am walking out of ‘Guru Sishyan.”

Produced and directed by Shakthi Chidambaram, ‘Guru Sishyan’ has Sundar C and Sathyaraj in lead roles. Though the title is inspired by a Rajinikanth-Prabhu starrer, the movie is no remake, according to its director. Hema Malini of ‘Indira Vizha’ fame is playing the heroine.
